On the Homefront

So, as a lot of you know, owning an older home (75 yrs. older) is a constant work in progress!  Our little colonial has come a LOOOOONG way since 2001.  Each room has evolved into a little piece of "us" and the cozy home of our dreams.  New paint, new floors, new windows...you name it we've pecked away at each project ready to move onto the next.  Being lucky enough to have the Bob Villa of Father-in-laws helps too!

 

Our current project and generous Christmas gift from the in-laws is a total laundry room make-over.  While the "afters" are looking fabulous, I'm not quite sure I'm ready to share the "befores"...just SO shameful!!!  Picture an unfinished basement with cement floors, open beamed ceilings and cinder block walls - THAT'S what we're starting with!  The big TA DAAA is going to be bright and white with aqua accents.  Can't wait to share the finished product but until then, here are some of the goodies we've got already...
