Project #2: Illustration

So, I found some old sketches and decided to try my hand at coloring them digitally. This is my first attempt and I'm having so much fun...fine tuning, choosing color schemes, playing dress-up with my "girls". I'm hoping to create some note cards to be sold at a local shop. We shall see!

And, to answer your question . . . yes that is all there is to making butter. That and maybe a pinch of salt. :)

  6. It looks wonderfull....

    How do you do that?
Because i would love to make our own birthcard.
I have already a sketch, but I don't know yet how to color it digitally....

    Love,

  7. Maureen, it's so much easier than I anticipated. All you have to do is download a FREE trial of Adobe Fireworks, make sure you have crisp, dark, clean lines on your sketches, scan it in and go to town.

I'm having a blast and now find myself sketching whenever I have any free time. If I knew how easy it was, I would have started sooner. Now I need a decent printer!
