Growing Up too Fast!

Being a mom is bitter sweet.  You put your heart and soul into nourishing your child, teaching them right from wrong, showing them support and guidance in order for them to grow up to be a strong, caring, kind adult.  

Then...

it actually happens...

WAY TO SOON!

Mind you, my son is not quite an adult.  He only became an official teenager this year but it seems like a huge leap from just last year.  Not only is he outgrowing his clothes on a weekly basis but it feels like he's outgrowing me.  Woe is me, I know, just let this mama wallow in self-pity for a minute.  Being my only child, this growing up stuff has certainly hit me hard.  

That being said, he asked if we could go through his "kid stuff" and have a yard sale.  WHAT?!?  I'm seriously holding back the tears now.  Being the strong mom I "think" I am, I agreed.  We started going through toy boxes that haven't been touched in years and shelf after shelf of books he read years ago.  It's actually been fun going down memory lane with him as we sort through everything.

So, long story short, I opened an eBay shop "sendmysontocollege" where I'm posting some of the better items and books.
