I'm such a sucker for handmade dolls.  No need for fussy details, the bare minimum is all you need...then let the fun begin, dressing, accessorizing and creating their unique personality only you could know :)

  I think it stems back to all the fabulous goodies Mama would whip up for us as kids.  She would amaze us with her handy work.  I remember how quickly she could mend a boo-booed doll with just scraps of fabric and a little thread...making it even better than before it needed mending. 

I've fallen in love with the simplicity of Fanja Ralison's designs.  Formerly of France, the now England-er brings to life the sweetest little characters: Ozzie, Babette, Lumi, Lewis, May and Lucius and they all live, here, at le train fantome's
