Bettering the Backyard

We were spoiled a little bit this past weekend...

blue skies, warm breezes and plenty of time to work in the yard.

Like I said, out with the old and in with the new.  We're sprucing things up in our little backyard.  The weather is still a little iffy to start planting & gardening but decorating, that's a whole different story!  In the process of getting ready to power wash the deck, we had a patio furniture fatality.  While attempting to move our ancient wooden table, it crumbled to pieces - DARN!  Now I have to go out and get something new ;)

We're all for saving a buck and recycling as much as possible so when a friend mentioned her mother was moving and looking to get rid of her patio furniture, we jumped on it.  Turns out, it was exactly what we were going to go buy & $400 cheaper - SCORE!  Now we can use the money we saved to get all the other bells and whistles we've been eying up.
